Help me rise again

I Never Thought I Would Have to Tell This Story

Sometimes, life takes you to a place where you no longer recognize the person you used to be. You wake up every morning carrying worries that you cannot explain to anyone, smile when you have to, and pretend you are holding everything together when, deep inside, you are struggling to find a way forward.

I am at that point in my life.

I am a trained teacher with dreams, ambitions, and a desire to build a better future. I have always believed that hard work, patience, and determination would eventually lead me somewhere meaningful. But somewhere along the way, things became more difficult than I ever imagined.

I invested money, time, hope, and sacrifice into a project that I genuinely believed would change my life. It was connected to a dream of a better future and the possibility of a new beginning. Unfortunately, things did not turn out as planned, and I have been left struggling with the financial consequences.

Today, I am unemployed and carrying debts of approximately GH₵30,000. I owe GH₵25,000 to one friend and GH₵5,000 to another. These are not just figures written on paper. They represent promises I am struggling to keep, people I do not want to disappoint, and responsibilities that weigh heavily on my mind.

The hardest part is not simply being broke. It is knowing that you have the ability to work, that you still have dreams, and that you are willing to do whatever honest work comes your way, yet you cannot immediately find a way out of your circumstances.

I have spent nights thinking about where I went wrong, how I will repay the people I owe, and how I will rebuild my life. Sometimes, the problems feel bigger than the opportunities I can see.

But I have not stopped believing that my story can change.

I am sharing this because I have come to understand that sometimes, being strong also means admitting when you need help. I cannot continue pretending that everything is fine when I am struggling to find my footing again.

I am asking for help—not because I have abandoned my dreams, but because I need a chance to stand on my feet again.

If you can help me financially, connect me to a job, offer me tutoring opportunities, or introduce me to someone who can help me find honest work, I would be sincerely grateful. Even a small contribution, a useful connection, or an opportunity to work could make a meaningful difference in my life right now.

I am not asking anyone to solve every problem I have. I am asking for a helping hand as I work to rebuild what I have lost.

Behind this story is a person who still wants to work, repay his debts, regain his peace of mind, and become someone who can help others someday.

I may not have everything figured out today, but I am willing to start again.

If you cannot give, please share my story. You never know who might see it, who might understand it, or who might be in a position to help.

Sometimes, one person's kindness becomes the beginning of another person's comeback.

Today, I am that person asking for a chance.
