When you make a donation, we collect your name (if provided) and email address. When you request a withdrawal, we collect your payout method details (bank or mobile money). Payment card and mobile money details are processed by our payment provider, Paystack, and are never stored on our servers. We also collect basic, anonymous usage statistics (such as page views) through our hosting analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Operate your account and campaigns
• Process and confirm donations and withdrawals
• Send notifications about donations, withdrawals, and campaign status
• Review verification submissions
• Respond to your enquiries and improve the platform

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers essential to the platform — including Paystack (payments), SendGrid (email delivery), Supabase (database and file storage), and Vercel (hosting and analytics) — and when required by law.

4. Cookies & Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, anonymous usage analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are visited). We do not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and secure storage. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

6. Data Retention

We keep your account information while your account is active and retain donation records for accounting and compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time.

Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we will act on your request promptly.
