EEE '26 Graduation Medal
We are final-year Electrical & Electronics Engineering students at Ho Technical University in Ghana, and we designed a functional PCB graduation medal for our class as a hands-on engineering project.
Instead of purchasing a conventional medal, we decided to build something that represents what we have spent years learning. The medal combines PCB design, an RP2040 microcontroller, embedded programming, memory, signal generation, and oscilloscope-based visualization. We designed, tested, and refined the system ourselves.
The design is now complete, and we are raising funds to manufacture about 50 physical medals for our graduating class. Raspberry Pi has already supported the project by providing 50 RP2040 microcontrollers, but we still need support for the manufacturing cost, which is currently quoted at $672.19.
Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help us take this project from a completed design on our screens to something we can physically hold and use as a lasting representation of our engineering journey.
Thank you for supporting our project and helping us bring it to life.
