My Journey as a Young Welder — Obiri Seth

My name is Obiri Seth, I am 23 years old, and I come from Ghana’s Central Region, around Swedru/Jukwa.

I am a young man who has learned the skill of welding because I want to build a better future for myself through honest work. Learning this trade has not been easy, but I have continued because I believe that having a practical skill can help me become independent and take care of myself.

I have now completed my welding training, and I am preparing for my graduation. Unfortunately, my biggest challenge right now is financial difficulty. I am struggling to raise the money I need for my graduation fees, while also trying to deal with my basic living expenses, including rent.

After graduation, my biggest dream is to have my own welding machine and essential tools so that I can start working for myself, earn an income, and gradually become financially independent.

I am therefore reaching out to kind-hearted people who may be willing to support me. Any amount you can afford would mean a lot to me. Whether it is small or large, your support can help me take an important step toward starting my own work.

I am not asking for help because I want to depend on others. I am asking for help so I can have the opportunity to work, earn my own money, and take care of myself.

If you are able to support me, I will be deeply grateful. And if you cannot contribute financially, simply sharing my story with others would also mean a lot to me.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering supporting my journey.

God bless you for any help you can give.
